Software Engineer (May 2007 - present)

Initially worked on a three month temporary design contract working on user interfaces before moving to a permanent engineer position in the Flex team. Built online and land-based gambling games and game components, specialising in graphics optimisation, animation control systems and eventually architecture roles for a number of large scale high risk projects.

Carefully applied and customised both established and custom design patterns to create robust solutions and trained other staff members in the new systems. Worked with artists, creating custom tools to streamline the development process. Travelled abroad, communicated via phone, email and in person to kick off and coordinate large scale projects across an international group of companies.
